By using our site and purchasing products you indicate that you agree to these terms and conditions. Customer Care and Privacy

We at L'Araboutique® wish to provide our customers with a safe and enjoyable website and comply with The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 2016/679. GDPR is a regulation in EU law on data protection and privacy for all individuals within the European Union.

We will protect your private information and not share it with a third party, unless it is your name, phone number and postal/email address for international DHL delivery purposes or when disclosure is required by law.

We allow and encourage customers who have created an account with us the freedom to post reviews on our products, as this can help people to choose the right products for them, however we will not tolerate the posting of anything offensive. We will cooperate with any law enforcement authorities requesting us to disclose the identity of someone who is posting immoral, illegal, racist or indecent content that will cause our site visitors to feel uncomfortable. We will also not tolerate the posting of spam links, surveys, advertisements to sell goods or services and indecent or incorrect posts that claim to be submitted on behalf of L'Araboutique®. If you come across any such postings that are in breach of this policy, please feel free to email info@l-araboutique.com and we will deal with it as soon as possible.

We will send you quarterly email newsletters regarding new products, news, launches and offers only if you have subscribed to our mailing list. You have the right to unsubscribe and remove your customer account from our website at any time.

Debit and credit card details are processed using secure SSL technology on a Barclays Bank platform to ensure that your transaction and payment information is kept safe.

It is your responsibility as the customer to keep your personal information updated in your store account, so that we can easily contact you via phone, email and/or postal address. We will contact you via email to let you know payment for an order has been accepted, that the order is being processed and when an order has been despatched with the postal tracking number. We will contact you if we have any questions or concerns about your order. If in the unlikely event we need to cancel an order, any payment that has been taken from your card will be returned to you within 7 working days.

We accept payment by all major credit and debits online and over the phone. We also accept Paypal payments. Please note we do not accept bank transfers, cash or cheques sent by post. 20% VAT is included in our product prices.

Cookies

Website usage information is collected using cookies. Cookies are text files placed on your computer to collect standard internet log information and visitor behaviour information. This information is used to track visitor use of the website and to compile statistical reports on website activity.You can set your browser not to accept cookies, however, in a few cases some of our website features may not function as a result.

Coupon Codes and Discounts

Please note that our coupon codes will not work at checkout on items that are already discounted/on sale. Also, as a result of increased shipping costs, Covid-19 and Brexit, some of our suppliers have had to increase the cost of various difficult-to-obtain goods, and therefore coupon codes will no longer work on our collection of raw Arabian honey, Arabian essential oils and oud incense from April 2021. 

Postal Services

​We provide every customer with a tracking number for their order with Royal Mail, Hermes or DHL so that you can follow the progress and whereabouts of your items via your account or the email we send you after you place an order. Once an order becomes trackable, we pass on the responsibility of fulfilment of delivery to the postal services. In the unlikely event you have not received your items, they are lost or they are delayed in transit, you can call us or send us an email and we will chase it up for you if you have not been successful in obtaining information from the postal company about it. If they are unable to find the parcel we will file a claim and send you a refund or a replacement order.

Website Terms

Please note that we may need to temporarily suspend the website at times in order to complete maintenance checks. These checks do not normally last more than a couple of hours. We will not be liable if for any reason our site is not available during these times.

You may link your websites, blogs and social media articles to our website providing that it is not for the purpose of damaging our reputation or stating a non-existent partnership.

We will not tolerate the deliberate misuse of our website by introducing viruses and attempts to hack our online server and physical data system. By breaching this rule you will be committing a criminal offence under the Computer Misuse Act 1990. We will report such breach to the law enforcement authorities and disclose your identity to them. We will not be liable for any loss or damage caused by any unlikely cyber-attacks that may affect your equipment.

We do our best to always ensure that our information is true, updated and accurate. If you spot any information that you think is incorrect or of concern, or you have any complaints regarding the website, service or the products please call or email info@l-araboutique.com. We take complaints seriously and will do our best to deal with them as soon as possible.

Intellectual Property Rights

L'Araboutique® is a registered trademark and owns all of the logos, brands, patterns, artwork, illustrations, graphics, articles, products, information, material, videos and photographs that are posted on its website are protected by copyright laws. We do not permit the unauthorised use of our brand name or any of its content without a written request for permission beforehand. You cannot modify any of the material and post it on behalf of L'Araboutique® and any use of our material must be acknowledged and credited to L'Araboutique®. Our ingredient combinations are also unique to L'Araboutique® and we do not give permission for them to be replicated.

Product Care

Due to the natural and organic nature of our products we strongly recommend that you use them as soon as possible in order to benefit from the fresh ingredients in them. All of our water based products (creams, lotions and toners) must be used within 3 months after purchase. Each product is made to order and comes with a best before date for guidance. In order to preserve their freshness and extend their shelf life, please store them in cool areas away from heat and direct sunlight. We also recommend that you store the soaps in dry areas or on one of our soap dishes that drains water in order to preserve their shelf life.

All of our products displayed on the website have passed official health and safety laboratory tests in the UK and each product has a Cosmetic Product Safety Report that confirms that it complies with UK/EU cosmetic regulations and is safe to sell and use. Our workshop is certified (ISO 22716) by an international cosmetics board (Intertek) and complies with the highest standards of health and hygiene (GMP). L'Araboutique® is also registered, approved and licensed in Saudi Arabia by Saudi FDA to not only use Zamzam water in our products but to export our products to all regions in Saudi too. We also hold the necessary certifications to export our products to Europe and the rest of The Middle East.

Allergies

It is your responsibility to fully check the ingredients of each product that are displayed on the website and on the product packaging in order to avoid buying and using products that include ingredients you may be allergic to or cannot use, if you are a vegan for example. People with nut allergies should also avoid all products that contain powders and oils that have been made from tree nuts, such as sweet almond oil and argan oil. Purchasing our products will be at your own risk and we will not accept responsibility for any allergic reactions you may experience to any of our ingredients. In the unlikely event you do, please consult a doctor as soon as possible.

Important:

We do not guarantee that the products will give the same results for everyone, as people differ in hair and skin types and problems. The medical and herbal information on our website, Facebook, Instagram and twitter pages is for educational purposes only and is not a substitute for medical advice or a recommendation regarding the treatment of any particular illness. It is also important that you do not take any medical advice from customer product reviews for serious conditions without consulting a doctor. Our products aim to improve the health and condition of your skin and hair, however we cannot guarantee that they will cure any illnesses or conditions.

Gift Sets

It is your responsibility to check allergies and choose the correct products for your loved ones that are included in the gift sets. The products will be subject to availability.

We offer a personalised gift wrapping service for our products and gift sets if you select that the item ordered is a gift. The deluxe hamper and basket gift sets all come wrapped in a beautiful cellophane wrap, soft tissue paper and branded ribbon and a gift bag.

We also have greeting cards available that you can add to the gift sets with your own personal message to the receiver that we will handwrite for you or you can leave it blank if it is to be sent to you first. All the gift sets are packed carefully and securely in mailing boxes.

All other items are packed carefully and securely in boxes that are filled with soft tissue paper and bubble wrap. The products are also wrapped in tissue paper. Images of our gift sets and packaging are available in our website gallery and Instagram page.

Product prices may change from time to time depending on sales, special offers and festive periods.

Large Orders
