This thick natural musk oil is referred to as Tahara Musk by the Arabs, as it has been traditionally used by women to perfume their bodies after post-natal bleeding and periods. This ritual is important after bathing, as it cleanses the body from bad odours and helps to prevent infections and irritations. This fresh and sweet scent that is obtained from white musk flowers includes light notes of white lotus flower oil for an extra floral touch. It is cloudy white in colour and has a sticky texture.
