To make a henna paste to decorate the body add 2 tablespoons of black tea water to 3 spoons of henna powder and 1 teaspoon of lemon juice. Keep adding tea water and mix it well until it turns into a thick honey-like paste before putting it into a henna cone. It is advised to leave the henna to rest for an hour or two before using it.
To make a henna paste to dye the hair add 4 tablespoons of warm water and/or our Zamzam and Omani Green Hojari Frankincense Water to 5 tablespoons of henna powder and mix until it forms a paste that has the consistency of thick honey. This will give your hair a red colour tone.

To make a dark brown dye paste add some sage tea to the mix and add more henna powder until you achieve the right consistency. Cover this with cling film and leave it in the fridge overnight in a glass container before using it. Once the mixture has warmed up after taking it out of the fridge, apply the mixture to your hair and scalp and then cover it with a shower cap for at least 3 hours or until it completely dries before washing it out.
